What’s on my mind? Hmm... good question. On any given day I usually have a million things on my mind and a hundred different things I want to do. *smile* What’s on the tip top of my mind today is “Love Thursday”. I had been exploring the SL blog waves and noticed that every Thursday I would see titles that revolved around “Love Thursday”. Then I found out where it all started from and you can read it HERE . So now I try to blog a “Love Thursday” post each chance I get. *smiles*

My “Love Thursday” post today is about my obsession for cute things to put in my mouth. *Giggle* Yummy! As some of you already know I’ve got a folder in my inventory labeled “Things I love to put in my mouth”. *wink* I wrote a little about my obsession back in September. I like how if you find the perfect item to place in your mouth like a flower or a cookie it can make one of your pictures look cute and oh so real.





I also love the goofy ones and the ones that make you say “umm ok that’s just silly.” I know what you’re thinking right now, you really want to know if that little mermaid tastes good and my answer is. “Taste like chicken!” YUMMY! *Giggle*

Yes I have new pets running around my land and they are adorable! *smiles* I have two bunnies from Ozimals. I blame LAP for making me get these new pets because of the cute poses that were just released. *Giggle* Now I just love playing with these little guys and watching them jump all over the place. I love everything about what I'm wearing and the beautiful trees next to me from (iTuTu)at the Plant Fair. There are three different tree colors and each cost 20L. They are must have for your collection. Run on over and pick them up soon.



I love my new warm Jacket from AOHARU. It goes with red and that was a plus for me because I find myself loving that color more and more each day.

Boss and I found these great avatars tonight Wall-E & Eve! We quickly both dressed up and took off to INSPIRE SPACE Park to explore space. *Giggle*

I was Eve so I know what comes with the Avatar. There is a very COOL hud that lets you shoot, express emotions, chat in Eve's voice from the movie, and lets you do silly moves. You can also give hugs too. *Happy sigh*

Oh helpful hint for those who are Eve. *Giggle* As I was chasing Boss around shooting him I noticed my battery power was getting low. I don't know why! I only shot him like a hundred times. *Giggle* Becareful how much you shoot because you'll have to power down and sleep to recharge.

LOVE THURSDAY- MY PLURKY FRIENDS

I just have to say that I LOVE all my Plurk friends. They make me laugh, smile, think, snort, giggle, hoot & holler.

Everyday I learn something new from them. It’s a huge network for friends from all over SL that I would have never talked to if it hadn’t been for Plurk. I read jokes, sweet messages and see crazy pictures from talented people.



I’ve visited new clubs and new places to explore across the SL grid because of my amazing friends on Plurk. If you need help they are always there for you to give you ideas or share something with you. I’m so glad to be part of their plurking world and in some cases their SL world too.



They are there to tease and catch you on all your silly mistakes but they still love you. They are there to give you hugs, advice and to distract your grumpy moods with silly conversation. They just make me oh so HAPPY!

The other day I needed distracting from thinking to much and I totally forgot about my earlier thoughts because my wonderful Plurk friends got us all started on the subject of Oreo cookies! After that I had such a great day thanks to them.

LOVE THURSDAY - YOU GOT PAINT ON MY DRESS!

I loved yesterday’s paintball birthday party! As many of you know yesterday was Boss’s Birthday and we had a major Paintball party to celebrate. I’d first like to thank DePaul University, College of CD for letting us have the party at their sim. They were so accommodating and helpful. It made the whole event perfect. They help you with any questions and have a vast array of knowledge. If you haven’t been to this sim you really should visit, there is so much to explore! They don’t only have paintball but so many other things you can see like, a race track, underground hidden areas, and a structure that falls apart while climbing it but magically repairs itself. You’ve got to explore.

I had so much fun decorating for the paintball party. I found some really cute things that I’m going to reuse for my home land for Christmas because we’ve pretty much decided we’re doing a gingerbread theme full of sweets. I also want to give a (( BIG HUG )) to my friend Arwyn because she made some amazing decorations for the party. When you have a chance stop by her store Obsidian Desires & [NeverM0re]. They've got the coolest stuff and she’s super creative.



I also made a few things for decoration. I don’t build very much at all because I have no idea what I’m doing. But with the helpful guidance of my patient teacher Boss I made a few decorations and had a blast! I made the big paint spattered mess and I’m proud of it. *Giggle*



I put presents, cakes, cupcakes, ice cream and balloons everywhere. *Giggle* I couldn’t help myself. I was putting finishing touches on a wall when our dear friend Lysistrata Szapira
joined the party. She looked totally cute in her paintball outfit but like myself looked like a very bad paintball player seeing as we were covered in paint!*giggle*



After I had put her to work painting with me I decided I would share a cupcake with her and gave her the cherry on top! She really wanted it. Hee hee!



A bunch of our friends joined us in celebrating, donned their paintball gear and took off chasing each other around the sim. We had the fabulous DJ Sam rocking our tunes. You could hear us all on chat laughing and joking about being hit by paintballs. I’ve never seen so many people get tossed up in the air. If you haven’t played grab your friends and head on over. It’s tons of fun!



It was great to be surrounded by friends and to hear them laughing. The birthday boy was happy and enjoyed shooting everyone he could. So the whole day was a win win for us.



Thank you to all our friends who stopped by to wish Boss a happy birthday. It means so much and made us smile to have you celebrate with us. Plus, I liked shooting you a lot. *giggle* I will not confirm nor deny how many times I got shot with a paintball. It was less then a million and a little over a hundred. *Giggle*

LOVE THURSDAY - READY-SET-HIKE

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?
Tis the season again for some American Football. WooT-WooT!
I love it when these things bring my family together!



This time of year brings back so many fun memories. Most of them are from high school. I use to go to every Friday night football game and root for our team. Loved all the action and excitement. Really loved my school colors of Royal blue and white. I can still picture a Friday night game, cheerleaders, bands, tailgating, friends, alumni, mascots, and the crowd of peers. I loved when we WON and disliked it when we lost.

I loved the feel of our Arizona night weather in the fall. At the start it’s still really nice almost perfect temps. Then as the season of Friday football nights continues it starts to get chilly and then you can smell far away fireplaces. It’s so much more fun to watch a game cuddling with someone to keep warm or hold hands.

Well now that the season has started for 2009 that means more family nights again at our house because we’ll be watching games with our family. Our family household has a mixture of favorite teams and that makes it more fun to tease and taunt the other loved ones. Hee hee!

So far on my list of teams to love are, Dallas Cowboys because my father is from Texas; the Denver Broncos because my mother is from Colorado; the Oakland Raiders because that’s Basil’s team, and the Arizona Cardinals because hey you have to support the home team. I've also grown quite fond of the Pittsburgh Steelers for some odd reason. *Smiles*

Whomever your team is that you cheer for I wish them luck this season. Enjoy it, have fun and also try to be a good sport when one of my five teams kicks your butt. *Giggle*

LOVE THURSDAY - BASIL NOT JUST A SPICE

I love spending time with my Basil. He is my best friend in the whole wide world. He understands me and knows me better than anyone else. He can read a look on my face, he can hear my feelings in my voice and he knows just the right things to say to make me laugh, feel better or just puts me at ease. I love hanging out with him.



Our friend Ranger told us about a really beautiful place called
Wanderstill, Ode~An Immersive Art Experience. So on Wednesday night we took a trip out exploring together. Something we haven't done in awhile but really needed to do. It was so beautiful there and I really think everyone should take a trip over to see the romantic field of flowers. There are couples dance balls all over the place so take a walk about with your special someone. *Happy sigh*



Basil and I talked alot tonight about our SL experiences and what we would like to do in the future. He's such a good listener. I am one very lucky girl. *Smiles* As we were walking around the field of flowers I noticed a merry-go-round and just like a little kid I jumped on it to play. Of course Basil made me laugh and jumped on with me. Such a trooper!

LOVE THURSDAY - TATTOO ME

I love how you can do things in SL that you can’t or don’t do in RL it’s what keeps things interesting and exciting. In RL I don’t have any tattoos on my body. I was tempted my senior year of high school and actually did a bunch of research about what I would like and where I would like to have one. But once my father got wind of it he sat my two younger brothers and me down and gave us a speech that I would never forget. The phrase that sticks out the most and I quote it still today to my friends, “If you ever should decide to get a tattoo on your body while living under my roof, I’ll slap it off you.” After that talk with my father my brothers and I went for a hike in our Arizona mountains and talked about what my father said. And we all came to the same conclusion that he meant what he said and decided it wasn’t such a grand idea to get a tattoo. And to this day none of us have tattoos even my US Marine brother. My father is the sort of man you listen to, respect and love. We’ll all go over my parent’s house, tell stories and joke about it now that we are all adults and remember things like this. After we retell this story my father keeps saying he doesn’t remember saying that but there are three of us against one on this fun fact of memory and we remember it very well. *Smiles*

So when I was shopping and exploring SL I noticed a lot of people have tattoos. I was really interested. I saw stores all over and freebies. One day while walking down a boardwalk there was this girl in front of me with one on her lower back that was pretty with a black heart and some swirls. She TP’ed away before I could ask her where she bought her tat I was really bummed.

That very night I was hanging out with friends and I told Boss that I was on the look out for a new tattoo because in SL I can do that. Hee hee! And he asked what kind I was looking for. I told him what I liked and even showed him a Googled picture of what I was looking for. Little did I know at the time that Boss makes tattoos. *Dancing happy dance* I was elated when he passed me one that was a beautiful colorful butterfly for my lower back. Then the next day I had another one from him that said “Bella” beautiful in Spanish. Awwww right? And my absolute favorite that he has made me is the “Giggle” tat. I’ll show you a picture so you can really see how great he is to me. And for all my friends who know me….that tat is SOOOoooo me. Yes *raising hand* I do giggle a lot in voice and in text. I can’t help it. Since then he's made a few more, a symbol for the back of my neck that means “Beauty” another symbol for my back that means “Mom”. One night while we were at an 80’s club dancing he asked me what my favorite flower was and he made me a peach rose for above my breast. He spoils me. *Happy sigh* Here are some pictures I'd like to share.

LOVE THURSDAY - FLUFFY PILLOWS

I love pillows. *Giggle* I can't have enough of them around my house and in my inventory. I love how just with a little click you can be relaxing, laying down, kissing, holding someone, reading a book, or eating popcorn.



One of my favorite stores is Pillow Talk. I've got quite the collection from there. *Smiles*



And who doesn't just love cuddle pillows for you and that special someone. *Happy sigh*



When I'm thinking or AFK I like to just relax and unwind with a pillow on my sofa.



And these two pillows are some of my favorite because of the way they make me feel. Just very peaceful...

LOVE THURSDAY - A HUNTING WE WILL GO

I’ve read so many of these wonderful “Love Thursday” blogs I couldn’t wait to start adding my own. So here is my first of many “Love Thursday” blog notes. *Smiles*

We love doing hunts in SL. In June of 2009 we discovered the Just for the Men! Hunt. I was looking for things to help Basil find more clothes. From what I’ve seen around us ladies are very lucky and have a wide assortment of designers. I’m so sorry for the guys because it’s not so easy. So this hunt was perfect and it was our first. We had a blast and did the whole thing. We met some really nice people in our hunting travels and laughed a lot. There were turning points in some of the stores when we wanted to give up! We had some help with the clues and it would have been so slow without them and I’m glad we found this blog site The Hunt Locations. It took Basil a month to unpack all his goodies.

We love the challenge of hunts. We wish we had time to do more and we wish they would magically go perfectly unpacked into our inventory in an orderly fashion. Hee hee! Dream on right!

While I’m at some stores I landmark them because I know I’ll want to come back and look around. Basil hunts like he shops in RL. He makes a list and goes for that thing and is out of the store in seconds. I wonder around looking and awing at the things in the store. Next thing I know he’s requested a TP for me to catch up to him. *Giggle*


I found those hotdogs and I ate them all! *Giggle*

I’ve searched in hunts for male symbols, hats, books, cupcakes, hotdogs, watermelons, cat paws, glass slippers, magnifying glasses, and beach balls.

I’ve received some really great things and some really crazy things from hunts.



Don’t ask me what I’m going to do with this Watermelon tub. *Giggle* Yes I’m bonding with my melons and no I don’t talk to my fruit before I eat it. Plus, on the positive side I’ve heard some fruits and vegetables help the fine glow of your skin. Am I glowing?

Tonight I'm going to do the "A Midsummers Night Quest Hunt" Your suppose to be looking for 12 blue glowing moons. Someone said to set our settings to midnight. Sounds fun and I alway love the ambience of the midnight setting. There is just something about a sky full of stars that just makes me happy.

This August I might try to do the Crayon Hunt, The Skipping Stones Hunt and the Lovebirds Hunt. In the perfect world of unlimited time and hours in our day. *Giggle* I would love company in my hunts so if anyone else loves these crazy things let me know or invite me to come along another pair of pretty eyes couldn’t hurt.
